Visit The Pier
The Pismo Pier, located just over a mile from the Mission Inn, is a must see while in Pismo Beach. From the pier you can walk out in the water and enjoy views of the scenic beach bluffs, or buy bait, rent tackle and test your fishing skills. It's also the surfing center of the area, with contest staged regularly. The pier is 1250 feet long and is lit at night.

Located 3 miles south of Pismo Beach, Oceano Dunes is 5 1/2 miles of beach available for off road vehicle recreation. It's the only California state park where you can drive vehicles right onto the beach and attracts visitors far and wide.
